An exciting retirement residence located in St. Boniface is looking for a fantastic individual to be our new cook!
A minimum of 2 years food handling/preparation experience. A working knowledge of banquet/buffet cooking. Valid food handling certificate. Clean, organized and punctual. Basic understanding of care and maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment. Online experience with international food suppliers. Some scratch baking knowledge an asset . Ability to work as a team or independently.
Complete ability to communicate with co-workers and residents in a professional manner.
A City of Winnipeg Police Service current police record and vulnerable sector check is required prior to hire date
Candidates must be able to and continue to be available to work on weekends.
Candidates must be able to speak and comprehend English fluently.
