Overview:
Fountain Tire Melfort, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe and dedicated associates to join our team as a Commercial Tire Technician.
Wage: $18-$22/hour - Dependant on experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
-
Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing car, SUV, & light truck tires
-
Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including GHS, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards

Reset and Repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)

The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.

Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field!
Working conditions:

Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required

This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge

This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in the tire industry is an asset

A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
