The Role:
We are currently seeking a highly focused and skilled security and telecommunication systems Install Technician. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills that will translate when communicating with our customers in person, over the phone and through email. You should be able to offer great customer service of our product lines, and a friendly personality so that customers have a positive experience with our company.
The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, can work with little to no supervision, and has the ability to learn new systems. In this role, you will provide on-site or remote support for Telephone and Data Networks, Nurse Call Systems, Closed Circuit TV, Card Access, Intercom, P/A Systems, and other related systems equipment as required. Compensation is based on experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
To be considered for this role you must fulfill the following requirements:
MUST Provide proof of vaccination
- MUST have a minimum of 2-years experience of relevant employment.
- Industry training in some of the systems mentioned
- MUST have experience in terminating demarcation points and patch panels.
- Experience in CCTV, Access controls, AV/Audio is an asset.
- Lenel Access Controls experience would also be an asset.
- Ability to learn various software and programming platforms.
- Physically able to perform all aspects of the job.
- Ability to perform work safely in all types of environmental conditions - indoor and outdoor.
- Ability to work well independently and as a contributing member of a team, promoting a positive image of PCS, our products and services.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Knowledge of Microsoft software like Word and Excel
- Ability to successfully complete various duties as needed.
- MUST have a Police Check done upon hiring.
- MUST Provide a Driver's Abstract
