Vancouver Resource Society is currently hiring casual Residential Care Attendant(s) to work in our sites located in Vancouver and Burnaby (18 sites). VRS provides care and housing to adults and children with physical and/or mental disabilities. Applicants must have a Canadian care aid certification, clear TB test, good health, and undergo a Criminal record check. Our shifts run a minimum of 4 hours and up to 10 hours per day (average 7.5 hours). Night shift premium an extra $2.50/hr on top of hourly rate to $27.11. Extensive Health and welfare benefit package after employee posts into a regular position; minimum of 15 hours weekly. This include dental, extended health, LTD, group life etc. and enrolment in the MPP pension plan (defined benefit plan).
