We are seeking a home care aide for a senior female living in Kerrisdale. This is ideal for someone who already has a stable job, who has some extra time to add on about 9 hours a week, split up into three 3-hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Help with showers
- Provide assistance with daily household tasks and chores
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including dusting and vacuuming.
- Clean bathroom and kitchens
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the client

myCareBase is an online platform that connects families who are caring for an aging loved one, with caregivers looking for work. We help families and paid caregivers facilitate the recruitment, vetting and placement process.
We want to help you find more clients! We are seeking people who are registered health care assistants, care aides, or those experienced in providing companionship and personal care services to seniors. You set your own hourly rates, and have control of when and where you want to work. There is no cost to be included on our platform.
Accepted candidates will go through an assessment and vetting process to ensure a consistent level of quality on our platform. This process will include a job reference check (so please be prepared to provide 2 job references) and a criminal background check.
