The Publican – The Face of the Pub
Think of it as hosting a party at the pub every day. The Publican should be present during busy times to support their team on the floor and host the party with Guests: touching tables, socializing and helping out where necessary. Publican should be active and constantly evolving within their community, local restaurant marketing and creating long-term goals for the pub. The ideal Publican shows respect for their team, their guests and the brand identity. As the face of the pub, the Publican consistently communicates, gives positive and constructive feedback to their team and is willing to accept responsibility for the overall success of the business.
As a Publican, passion and enthusiasm for interacting with guests and engaging with staff to create a fun atmosphere are a must!
