Celebrating its 50th year as a leader in the HVAC & Plumbing industries in the lower mainland, BC Comfort Air Conditioning Ltd is seeking a Service Coordinator/Dispatcher for our Service Department.
Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities:
· Customer Service (contact clients for access to buildings, scheduling with property managers when required, and maintain an ongoing relationship with clients)
· Send contract renewal reports to Account Managers
· Payroll hours verification
· Provide back up and support to assist field staff to complete all work in a professional and efficient manner
· Update contracts and customer accounts
· Update equipment, service items and tech note information
· Order monthly filter and belts
· Uniform management
Dispatch Support Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lunch break and vacation coverage
· Creating work orders and issuing purchase orders to technicians
· Dispatching of technicians to service and maintenance calls according to priority/type of work required and location of job site
· Scheduling and maintaining dispatch board (must know where technicians are at beginning and end of each work day/ensure work issued has been completed or schedule for completion/scheduling of technicians for following day/current week)
· Send daily work assignments to all technicians for the start of the next day, ensuring that material, building keys, tools, and paperwork are either set aside for pickup, or arranged for delivery to site
· Organize the daily activities of company driver, based upon requirements for dispatch, field staff, and continuously re-evaluate/update as circumstances change
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2-3 years of dispatch/scheduling experience within the HVAC industry an asset
· Highly organized with strong communication skills
· Fluency in English required
· Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Able to learn new systems quickly
· Familiar with Jonas Construction software and Dispatch Scheduler an asset

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
