We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Support Staff. This role primarily involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen area, including cleaning dishes and glassware, hand polishing glassware, and providing assistance in food preparation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cleanliness, have excellent organizational skills, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all dishware, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Hand-polish glassware to ensure a sparkling appearance and maintain the highest standards of presentation.
- Assist in food preparation activities, such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and following recipes under the guidance of the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including storage areas, refrigerators, and work surfaces.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when reordering is necessary.
Requirements:
- Must be a fast learner and a team player
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen support or dishwasher role is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
