We are looking for two home care aides to split the week to help a senior female with home support and personal care. Shifts would likely be 9 am to 3 pm, and the week can be split between the two caregivers 4 days and 3 days or 5 days and 2 days.
Duties to include
- Housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Cooking/Meal prep
- Companionship
- Personal care and assistance with showering, dressing, etc.
Requirements:
- Must already be in BC (we do not sponsor foreign workers at this time), ideally already living in Nanaimo.
- At least 2 years experience with senior care, preferably in the home but assisted living/long-term care experience would also be okay
Please note that the client occasionally smokes in the home.
