Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the Mezza Lebanese Restaurant Group Operations Manual Opening and closing of the restaurant.
- Performs paperwork such as schedules and Costs of Goods Reports.
- Resolving guests’ questions and grievances in a professional manner.
- Recruits, rewards, and terminates staff as needed.
- To carry out catering orders timely, accurately, and efficiently
- Ensures the restaurant adheres to all health and safety guidelines.
- Exhibits a cheerful and positive attitude with all guests as well as all Mezza staff.
- Schedule, plan and organize staff meetings as needed.
- Schedule according to labor targets.
- Adheres to maintenance guidelines for all equipment.
- Reports any outstanding issues to the Director of operations.
- Hire and train new staff as needed.
- Order ingredients according to restaurant needs.
- Cross train front- and back-line staff for better efficiency.
- Lead from the front. Be there when it's busy.
- Delegate to Assistant managers or Supervisors their duties and responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience
- A minimum of two (2) years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.
- Ability to instill positivity within a team and keep them motivated.
- Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles.
- Time and project management skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service to guests and supporting our staff.
- Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must have an open availability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
