Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service at the front end of the store
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and bag items for customers
- Assist customers with locating products and answering their inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized front end area
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Please note that this position may require occasional assistance in other areas of the store, such as the kitchen. Sanitation practices will also be important to ensure a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.
