Dogtopia of Halifax is looking for a passionate manager to oversee operations.
Job Summary
- Responsible for overall store operations, customer relationships, and human resources.
- Must have sales, marketing, and finance experience
- Solution oriented problem solver, strong communication and reporting skills
- Mix of strategic and tactical initiatives
- Manage the store through growth cycle of business development.
Clean and Safe Environment
- Ensure our furry friends are always in a safe and clean environment we take pride in working as a team to maintain and be accountable to the Dogtopia's safety and cleaning standards.
- This includes dismissing dogs proactively with ongoing behavior issues and monitors action plans to retain those with minor issues.
Financial and Administrative
- Maintains controllable expenses within budgetary constraints including forecasting, tracking and ordering supplies, minimizing payroll, and actively look for ways to maximize efficiency.
- Communicates any concerns or needs to franchise owner proactively and partnering after attempting to resolve issues
Financial and Administrative
- Manages the team (including groomers) which includes quality control of work, safety and schedules
- Develops team in sales, marketing, and customer service capacity
Customer Service & Presentation
- Sets the example for the team on the 3 S's (smile, story and satisfaction) and hold accountable to internal and external customer service
- Keeps the team members engaged in their duties
- Strive for high customer ratings!

Salary: $46,800.00-$51,100.00 per year
