Here’s what you’ll be doing as a Junior Line Cook:
As a Junior Line Cook you will master the sandwich, salad, and grill stations, creating a positive experience for Stella’s guests. You will report to the General Manger via the Kitchen Manager and BOH leads. Previous experience is an asset, but applicants with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining an up-to-date working knowledge of menu items
Cooking and preparing all meals at the Sandwich, Salad & Grills stations
Ensuring food standards are being met
Executing cleaning checklists to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen/workstation
Measuring and preparing ingredients according to the Food Specification manual
Ensuring that production times are maintained
Fulfilling dishwashing duties when assigned
Availability to work weekends
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding organization, coordination, and multi-tasking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Positive attitude and team mindset
