The Senior Diversity and Inclusion Advisor is responsible to plan, develop, implement and evaluate corporate diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives. It provides advice and education to government departments, Yukon First Nations, and non-government organizations (NGOs) on programs and initiatives to promote awareness and increase representation of equity groups within Yukon government. The position plays a key role in the implementation and monitoring of Chapter 22 obligations of Yukon First Nation Final Agreements (Representative Public Service Plan).

- Experience leading diversity and inclusion-related programs or services to equity-deserving client groups (this could include Indigenous people, people with disabilities, and/or racialized "visible-minority" groups) within a public sector setting.
- Experience providing support and advice at the senior level to government or non-profit organizations.
- Experience networking with First Nation governments or other First Nation organizations. "Networking" means taking action that results in interacting with others to exchange information and develop professional contacts.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
