Here's an overview of the areas that need the magic touch of volunteers. You'll have the chance to choose your area of preference on the volunteer application form. With 25,000 positions to fill we'll do our best to accommodate your request, but please keep in mind this will not always be possible.

The online application form takes about 30-40 minutes to complete. It's the first step in securing your spot as volunteer candidate with the 2010 Winter Games. Here's the information and documents you'll need to have handy to fill out the application.

- A current e-mail address
- One of the following types of ID (Birth certificate, Driver's licence, Indian Status Card, Passport, Provincial ID)
- The name and number of someone we can contact in case of an emergency
- CPR and/or First Aid certification (if applicable)
- Driver's licence number (if you have one)
- The consent and contact details of your parent/guardian (if you are currently under 19 years old, but will be 19 by September 1, 2008)
